CD Coyote

Coyote is a program for CD-ROM drive users who listen to audio CD's and
have written disc information to CD Remote DA or AppleCD Audio Player. With
CD Coyote you can:
-Edit all disc information without inserting the CD to the CD-ROM drive.
-Save the disc informatin to a TEXT file with user defineable options.
-Merge many 'CD Remote Programs' files to just one so You can share them with your friends.
-Add discs to the 'CD Remote Programs' database. Audio CD must be inserted (if it is not there allready) to the CD-ROM drive to get the dentification number from the disc.
-Remove discs from the database.
-Sort discs alphabetically in the database.
-Find and Find Again commands to search for a text string in the database.
-Control the CD-ROM drive. Includes play, pause, continue, skip to previous or next track and stop playing of audio CD's.

Kong Filter is a real time dynamic filter program for PowerMacintosh. You can create poles and zeros on the complex plane (or z-plane), and move them around with the mouse or with MIDI messages. You can check its impulse and frequency response, and hear the filtered sound in real time.
Kong Filter can be used as an educational tool or as an electroacoustic compositional tool. Since you can control poles by MIDI messages, it's possible to create a motional filter and use it with some live sound sources on the stage. Kong Filter uses Apple's MIDI Manager, so you can use a MIDI tool to manipulate the filter.

Pedalfects is an easy-to-use, real-time effects processor. Pedalfects can produce eight simultaneous effects. Each effect can be controlled from the screen or by MIDI. Pedalfects also has six low frequency oscillators which can control effects. Effects can be patched together freely. Feedback connections are possible.
Pedalfects can use the audio inputs to your computer, the audio output of your CD-ROM drive, or a stereo sound file saved on a hard drive as its sound input source. You will hear the sound output in real-time from your computer speakers and you can record this output to a hard drive.
Pedalfects uses specialized code to achieve very low-latency performance. This means that there is very little delay between the time a sound comes in and when it goes out. The overall sound latency is about 23 milliseconds (ms.). Control latency (or how long it takes Pedalfects to respond to MIDI) is about 11 ms.
A single configuration of Pedalfects is called a patch. You may save patches individually or in banks of up to 128 patches. You can switch between patches in a bank quickly by using MIDI program changes. |
